Ms. Bridges earned her Associates of Science in Nursing degree from Dalton College in 1996.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the State University of West Georgia in 1997.  After working in the North Georgia area as a labor and delivery nurse, Tonya moved to Charleston, SC to pursue her dream of becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife.  She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2001.  She is certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives as a Certified Nurse Midwife.  She is happy to be back in Northwest Georgia, caring for friends and family.  She enjoys decorating, gardening, and going to the beach in her spare time.
