Ms. Carroll received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Valdosta State University, Valdosta, Ga. She graduated with a Master of Science degree as a family nurse practitioner from Georgia State University, Atlanta.

Ms. Carroll is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society.
